Article of the Month: Understanding the role of veterinarians in antimicrobial stewardship on Canadian dairy farms: A mixed-methods study
Check out a recent publication, authored by Claudia Cobo Ángel (Cornell University) and co-authored by ACER’s Steve Roche, using mixed methods to describe (1) factors that influence dairy cattle veterinarians´ antimicrobial prescribing behaviours; (2) attitudes toward reducing antimicrobial use in the dairy industry; (3) awareness of antimicrobial resistance; and (4) perceived barriers to improving antimicrobial stewardship on Canadian dairy farms.
